You know that familiar saying… "What goes around, comes around"
Indeed that certainly seems to be the case here.
NCD Wellness, so I have heard, will be launching as a new MLM company with one of James (Jim) Flowers products. They have some familiar names promoting it too. Let us look at the name first.
As many of us know, NCD has been used as an acronym for Natural Cellular Defense. Natural Cellular Defense is the name of Waiora’s WATER and zeolite product. Waiora, in a predictable lack of foresight, failed to trademark the name NCD. (not very smart huh?) So now, another company is launching with a similar product, in direct competition, with a name that some people associate with Waiora’s product.
Will Waiora Sue NCD Wellness?
Will Waiora sue? Maybe, but since they don’t own the trademark for NCD, only Natural Cellular Defense, they may or may not win.
Once again, Waiora has failed to protect their own income, and their distributors income. I guarantee you that within a few months the marketers of this new company will own Google for NCD related search terms.
Using NCD in the company name is actually pretty smart, since Waiora has already done such a great job making the term familiar. Talk about causing a little brand confusion! I smell a good marketer here.
Who Else is Involved in NCD Wellness?
Ah yes, a little google search shows that Troy Shanks is promoting NCD Wellness. troyshanks.com/ncd-wellness Troy and Matt Geottsche have been working together on the ZeoPure project. (another zeolite product by James Flowers).
Both Matt and Troy were Waiora distributors. Both of them are brilliant internet marketers, and Matt at least has a good mind for systems. He was the brain behind the NCD Riches system that was a feeder for Waiora. The beauty of the name for the new company is that Matt will be able to use a lot of his old material… a lot of that material is already optimized and ready to go.
There is the issue of competition. Isn’t Troy competing with his own Zeopure business?
Matt was terminated from Waiora, I believe when he was promoting ZUS. What was ZUS you ask? Another MLM attempt with another zeolite product manufactured by (you guessed it) Jim Flowers. Dave Jordan was also involved with ZUS. Who is Dave Jordan? Dave was a Diamond with Waiora, who was terminated too (for no reason?) and was going to be a founding distributor for ZUS. Last I heard Dave was working as top distributor for "Live Smart 360". 360 used to be cyberwize and is owned by Mark McCool. 360 have a product called "zeo smart". http://www.360zeosmart.com/
This time last year Jim Flowers was happily tweeting about bringing a new zeolite product to a company in Florida. https://twitter.com/zeoliteexperts That was Zeosmart.
I have also heard a rumor that the owner of NCD Wellness is James Watson who was also the owner of (the failed before it ever got out of the gate) ZUS. Don’t quote me on that… I haven’t got verification of it yet. :- )
What about James (Jim) Flowers? Jim was the real manufacturer of Waiora’s NCD (Natural Cellular Defense). See Waiora contracted Rik Deitsch to produce the product, and Rik had Jim actually make it. Jim is Rik Deitsch’s cousin by marriage. Waiora tried to lock down Jim Flowers, hopefully to prevent him from selling competition products all over the place, but in the end they couldn’t. Why? Because Waiora’s contract is (was?) with Rik Deitsch. And Waiora doesn’t OWN anything. No patents. No "proprietary" formula. Why? Because James Flowers was manufacturing the product. HE is the one who did the processing for Waiora’s product.
Waiora has a new manufacturer and (despite the owners saying otherwise) the NCD (Natural Cellular Defense) product is different than it used to be. Now, we already know that tests done on Waiora’s product showed 1/100th of the zeolite, in the bottle tested, than the label listed when Rik Deitsch and James Flowers were manufacturing the product. Rik claims he told the new manufacturer how to make the product, but it is definitely a lot different than it was. Maybe Rik never knew how Jim did it?
The next logical question is… Does Rik Deitsch have a hand in the NCD Wellness product or any of the other zeolite products that Jim Flowers put out? They are cousins, and they have business ties. That would be something Waiora would want to check out I would think. Well I digress, but that certainly would be interesting to look into. (stay tuned… :- )
NCD Wellness. on their marketing website, claim to have sold 5 million bottles of product! Are they counting Waiora’s 3.5 million bottles plus whatever Matt and Troy have sold of zeopure?
Add to all of this that the new company, NCD Wellness, is going to be using a matrix style compensation plan. In the history of MLM there has only ever been one company with a matrix pay plan that survived.
So let us recap:
- NCD Wellness is using the acronym for Natural Cellular Defense, opening themselves up right away for a potential lawsuit.
- James Watson (owner of the failed MLM ZUS) is rumored to be the owner of NCD Wellness
- Troy Shanks is starting his marketing for NCD Wellness. Troy has been partners with Matt Goetsch in marketing Zeopure. (another product manufactured by Jim Flowers) Matt and Troy are internet marketers, and are in a position to corner the NCD keywords in the major search engines. (I think Matt and Troy should ditch everyone and come work with me. We would rule the world!! :- )
- Jim Flowers manufactured zeolite products for Waiora, Live Smart 360 and Zus, plus Zeopure and who the heck knows what else.
- NCD Wellness has a matrix pay plan.

So I’ve had a great afternoon catching up with some folks that I haven’t spoken to in a while. 
and a couple of corrections to my story.
Matt gave me a ring today. It was super to hear about what he has been up to this last while. He was kind enough to fill me in on the bits I didn’t know about this new company! He was also kind enough not to give me a hard time about spelling his name wrong! /:- )
He did inform me that he isn’t actually promoting NCD Wellness as a distributor, or owner. He has been hired for his ‘systems’ specialty. (Lucky them… ) As I mentioned, Matt is brilliant with systems, and I have no doubt that hiring him to run the back end was a good move.
James Watson of ZUS fame is not involved. That rumor turned out to be just that… a rumor. (I am so glad I called it :- )
I had a chance to chat with Troy a bit too.
I am going to have a lot of fun watching the NCD Wellness company take over all the ‘NCD’ search terms in Google.
